The stipend for Articleship in a mid-size CA (Chartered Accountancy) firm can vary significantly depending on various factors, including the location of the firm, the size and reputation of the firm, and the stage of Articleship (i.e., whether you are in the initial, intermediate, or final stage of your Articleship). It's important to note that stipends can also change over time due to inflation and other economic factors.
Initial Stage (1st Year): Stipends during the first year of Articleship in a mid-sized firm could range from ₹5,000 to ₹12,000 per month, on average.
Intermediate Stage (2nd and 3rd Year): Stipends typically increase as you progress through your Articleship. During the intermediate stage, you might earn between ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 per month or more.
Final Stage (Last Year): In the final year of Articleship, stipends can vary significantly, ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 per month or more, depending on the firm's policies and your performance.

The Chartered Accountancy (CA) program is known for its rigorous and comprehensive curriculum, and different students may find different subjects or groups challenging based on their individual strengths and interests. However, traditionally, the “Group II” subjects in the CA program have been considered more challenging by many students. Group II typically includes the following subjects:
Advanced Management Accounting (AMA): This subject involves advanced concepts and techniques related to cost management, budgeting, and performance evaluation. It requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and mathematical calculations.
Information Systems Control and Audit (ISCA): ISCA focuses on information systems, control mechanisms, and auditing practices in the context of technology-driven business environments. This subject can be challenging due to its technical nature and the evolving landscape of information technology.

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) allows candidates a limited number of attempts to clear each level of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) program. Here are the maximum number of attempts permitted for each level of the CA program:
CA Foundation: There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for the CA Foundation examination. Candidates can appear for the CA Foundation exam as many times as needed to pass.
CA Intermediate (IPC): A candidate can attempt the CA Intermediate (IPC) examination a maximum of eight times. If a candidate does not pass within eight attempts, they must register afresh with ICAI.
CA Final: Similar to the CA Intermediate, candidates are allowed a maximum of eight attempts to clear the CA Final examination. If a candidate does not succeed within eight attempts, they must re-register with ICAI.
